Y’all, I’m addicted to the good ol’ Netflix Binge. If you’re not, are you even a real human? Don’t think so.
So, today I’m blessing you with a top 5 list of my favorite Netflix (and one Hulu) must-binge shows. Typically, I’m all for like, comedy.. I don’t want to be scared from my shows and I don’t want to have to pay too much attention… but some of these are the exception, and are totally worth being scared or on the edge of your seat!
Which brings me to number ONE.
This was not a show I expected to really get in to… but I was hooked by episode 3. By season 3 or 4, my husband was totally over it. He was a good sport though and watched 2-3 episodes a few times a week with me until we finished the season. I love the clothes, the design, the whole everything about this show.
This is not on netflix, but HULU. Andy suggested watching it and I laugh out loud seriously every single episode. It is hilarious! Light and not too raunchy. Proceed with the LOLzzz!
My favorite part about binge watching is also snacking. Bet you couldn’t have guessed!
Obviously popcorn is a movie/netflix/hulu binge must have snack. I like to include plain frozen M&M’s in my popcorn, and sometimes cereal. That sounds weird, I know, but trust me! Add some apple cinnamon cheerios, lucky charms, or cookie crisp to your popcorn
next time. You won’t be disappointed!
I also like to add olive oil, black pepper and parmesan cheese to my popcorn when I’m in the mood for savory over sweet. Olivia is open to new popcorn possibilities but Sophia is a BUTTER ONLY kind of girl.
Another of our favorite movie night snacks is a nice cheese board. Andy invented the “at home date night” for us back in 2013 when we first moved to Fort Smith and didn’t really have any friends or a social life. He would rent old movies that I’d never seen like Gone with the Wind or Casablanca and then stop in the store for a couple of nice cheeses, a baguette, some kalamata olives, and a nice Beaujalais (follow me on ViVino for wine reviews!). We really enjoy a nice goat cheese with local honey, aged cheddar, gouda, and once we found some cheese from Romania that was aged in a cave full of the same bacteria that causes athletes foot. It. Was. DELICIOUS. 🙂
I am always saying we’re getting healthier but it is really hard to not snack while we watch our shows. One thing we’re working on in our home right now is watching less netflix and reading more instead. That is hard, even though I love to read, because I really just enjoy laughing or being caught up in something with Andy that we can share. Sometimes we do read the same books and discuss them but that isn’t really as much fun as laughing out loud while we stuff our faces.
What are your favorite tv shows to veg out to? Do you even netflix and chill or is that not your thing?
